Francesco Strazzari

About

Strazzari is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Pisa-based Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and is also affiliated with the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs as an adjunct research professor. He holds a PhD from the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute in Italy and a master’s in Conflict Analysis from The John Hopkins University, Bologna Center.

Strazzari specializes in conflict studies, with a specific focus on European security, state-building, extra-legal governance, and transnational organized crime. He has participated in multiple projects related to his research interests and lectured on the subject at SAIS Europe (The John Hopkins University), the University of Amsterdam, and the University of Bologna.
